Karyn Dobroski currently serves as a Dyslexia Teacher at Tyler ISD since August 2025. Previous roles include 6th Grade RLA Inclusion Teacher at Jacksonville ISD from August 2023 to June 2025, and 8th Grade ELA Teacher at Barrow County Schools from July 2022 to June 2023. Karyn has also worked as a 6th Grade Teacher in Clarke County School District and as a 6th Grade Science Teacher at Jacksonville ISD. Earlier experiences include a Computer Teacher position at Jacksonville ISD and ESL Instructor with the Jacksonville Literacy Council, focusing on preparing non-native speakers for the GED and U.S. citizenship exam. Karyn holds a Teacher Certification from iteachTEXAS, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Texas State University, and an Associate of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Trinity Valley Community College.
