Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry is a distinguished writer, actor, producer, director, and philanthropist, recognized as the founder of Tyler Perry Studios, which has become a significant force in the motion picture industry since its establishment in January 2002. Under Perry's leadership, the studio supports a wide range of projects within film and television, achieving over $1 billion in box office earnings and contributing to more than 10% of the Top 100 grossing films in the past decade. In addition, Perry co-founded Peachtree and Vine Productions in September 2019, partnering with Tim Palen to create diverse content in both scripted and unscripted formats.
