Elaine Horn-Ranney, Ph.D. is an Industrial Advisory Board Member at Old Dominion University and a Board Member at Virginia Biotechnology Association. Elaine is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Tympanogen, leading research and product development in the field of ear, nose, and throat devices and wound-healing therapies. Elaine previously served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University and undertook doctoral studies at Tulane University, where Elaine conducted research on materials for chronic tympanic membrane perforation repair and developed polymer hydrogels for directed neurite growth. Additionally, Elaine has experience as a Teaching Assistant and as an Undergraduate Researcher in the field of biomedical engineering.
