Ava Kate Oleson

Ava Kate Oleson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and counseling. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Tyndale University since July 2020, Oleson is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Journeys Counseling Center and a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate at Saddleback Church Counseling Center. Oleson holds the position of LifeMastery Coach and Consultant at LifeSOULutions and previously coordinated the Doctor of Ministry Program while being an Associate Professor of Practical Theology at AGTS at Evangel University from June 2008 to July 2018. Additional experience includes roles as Program Director at Life Center Tacoma and Counseling Teacher at Orange County Worship Center, alongside being a Staff Therapist at the Center for Family Therapy. Oleson earned a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Leadership from Evangel University, contributing to a well-rounded expertise in education and therapy.
