Philip Tanner

Philip Tanner, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the international development and humanitarian sectors. Currently serving as the CEO and Founder of The Grants House since August 2021, Philip also holds the position of Principal at EPIC-Consultancy Ltd and serves as a University Lecturer and Internship Coordinator at Tyndale University, where the focus is on International Development courses. Previous roles include Chief Transition Officer at WaterAid Canada, where Philip managed governance and strategic planning, and various senior positions at ChildFund Alliance, Children Believe, CARE Canada, CARE Bangladesh, and World Vision, with significant contributions in policy direction, program management, and emergency response. Philip Tanner holds a Ph.D. in Women's Empowerment from the University of Bradford and advanced degrees in Public Administration and International Relations from the University of Waterloo.
