Heikki Raisanen

Research Director at Työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö - Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (Finland)

Heikki Raisanen has a extensive background in academic research and government work. Heikki began their career as a Research Director at the Government Institute for Economic Research from 2002 to 2006. Heikki then transitioned to the Ministry of Labour, where they served as a Research Director for one year. In 2008, they joined the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, taking on the role of Research Director. Simultaneously, they were appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tampere, a position they held until 2018. Most recently, in 2019, they began working as an Adjunct Professor at Tampere University.

Heikki Raisanen pursued their education at Imatrankoski High School from 1977 to 1980, where they completed their Baccalaureate degree. Following that, they attended the University of Helsinki from 1981 to 1992, successfully obtaining a Doctor of Policy Science degree with a specialization in Social Policy.
