Darren Gale

Darren Gale is an accomplished executive in the nuclear energy sector with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as VP Stellarator Fusion Power Plant Programs and VP and Product Manager Fusion Pilot Plant at Type One Energy Group since April 2024, Darren previously held key positions at X-energy and Structural Integrity Associates. Significant achievements include directing the $1B mPower Development and Licensing Program at Babcock & Wilcox and securing INPO 1 ratings for multiple client sites during tenure at Day & Zimmermann. Darren holds multiple degrees in Nuclear Engineering and an MBA, complemented by executive training at AREVA University and Harvard Business School.
