Zeke Shore

Founding Partner, Head of Product at Type/Code

Zeke Shore has a wealth of experience in the field of design and product development. Zeke founded Type/Code in 2010, where they served as the Founding Partner and Head of Product. In this role, Zeke led strategy, product design, and creative direction for numerous projects with clients such as Google, MIT Media Lab, and Disney. Zeke also created an internal product incubator called Type/Code Labs, and successfully launched multiple high-impact products and services.

In addition to their work at Type/Code, Zeke has held various positions throughout their career. Zeke served as a Part-time Faculty at Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2017 to 2018, where they taught a class on Interaction Design. Zeke was responsible for curriculum development, design theory lectures, technical workshops, and project critiques.

Prior to starting Type/Code, Zeke worked as the Director of User Experience Design at inStream Solutions from 2009 to 2012. Zeke also worked as a User Experience Designer at Google from 2009 to 2010, where they designed Google's Friend Connect social networking tool and integrated it into Blogger. Zeke continued their work with Google as a consultant through Type/Code, leading UX and UI design on multiple projects for Google News, Google Play, Google Books, and Google Music.

Throughout their career, Zeke has also held various design consultant roles at companies such as Hyperakt, Going.com, Square360, Calabash Music, Panraven Inc., and Zingku. These roles involved responsibilities such as interactive and graphic design, mobile design, and website redesign.

With their extensive experience and versatile skillset, Zeke Shore has proven himself as a highly capable and innovative design professional.

Zeke Shore completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School. Zeke pursued this program from 2005 to 2010. In addition, Zeke also studied at Ithaca College from 2005 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Culture and Communication.
