Abhijeet Sarkar, CFA

Abhijeet Sarkar, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Abhijeet started their career as a Digital Design Intern at Honeywell Aerospace in 2005 and later worked as a Programmer and Fixed Income Quantitative Analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Abhijeet then joined Bell Mobility as a Network Specialist and Software Developer before moving on to AECL as an Intern in the Instrumentation and Controls Group. Abhijeet also worked at Nytric Ltd. as a Product Research and Software Developer during their co-op program.

In 2009, Abhijeet joined Brock Solutions as a Software & Controls Engineer, where they gained experience in software engineering and data. Abhijeet worked with a team to implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for clients. Abhijeet then joined Arc'teryx Equipment Inc. in 2011 as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they played a key role in building a data-driven brand by integrating tools, building infrastructure, and training colleagues to use data effectively.

In 2015, Abhijeet became a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, working independently with different brands to develop their Business Intelligence Roadmap and recommending suitable tools and staffing options. Abhijeet later became the CEO of TypeSift Inc. in 2016, where they pioneered technology to assist CFOs in measuring their EBITDA drivers by providing scalable and cost-efficient enterprise-level reporting & analytics tailored to the Goods & Services industry.

Throughout their career, Abhijeet exhibited a strong focus on data and its utilization in decision-making. Abhijeet is known for their expertise in Business Intelligence and has contributed to building successful teams and achieving remarkable outcomes for organizations.

Abhijeet Sarkar, CFA has a strong education background. Abhijeet earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued further education and achieved the prestigious CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Abhijeet Sarkar obtained the official CFA certification from the CFA Institute in January 2017, further solidifying their expertise in the field.
