Jonah Skinner

Jonah Skinner is an experienced Software Engineer currently employed at Tyro Payments since June 2022, contributing to the improvement of the Tyro banking application as part of the Rocketdogs team. Formerly a Graduate Android Engineer, Jonah has participated in internal hackathons and developed scripts for boot up animations for android-powered EFTPOS terminals while collaborating across engineering and business disciplines. Prior to Tyro Payments, Jonah interned as a QA Engineer for the FAIMS Project, where contributions included implementing internationalization examples and working on regression and feature testing in collaboration with CSIRO engineers. Jonah's earlier roles include contract web development at Macquarie University, involvement in a redesign project for the university's Widening Participation Unit website, and teaching programming principles at PIEX Education. Jonah holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Software Engineering from Macquarie University.
