Alessio Piumatti

Alessio Piumatti is an experienced aerospace professional with a strong background in nanosatellite systems. Currently serving as VP of Engineering and Chief Engineer for Technology and R&D at Tyvak International since July 2017, Alessio has been involved in the design, development, and testing of advanced nanosatellite platforms. Prior experience includes roles as a Space Systems Engineer intern, where contributions to GNSS-based navigation and rendezvous solutions were made during a master's program at Politecnico di Torino. Alessio's career also features positions as an Independent professional focused on Real Time Embedded Systems, Junior Ground Systems Engineer at Amphinicy Technologies, and work on satellite operations software. Alessio holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, earned between 2006 and 2013.
