Raffaele Mozzillo

Raffaele Mozzillo serves as the Operations Director and Chief Engineer at Tyvak International since September 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing operations and engineering activities. Prior experience at Politecnico di Torino from March 2011 to August 2016 involved roles as Research Fellow, PhD Candidate, and Teaching Assistant, focusing on CubeSat performance improvement and spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control algorithms. Raffaele played a key role as Team Leader of the CubeSat Team and co-managed projects involving the design and simulation of attitude determination systems. Earlier experience includes an internship at Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli, contributing to the development of ceramic coatings for aluminum structures. Educational credentials include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, complemented by a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field, along with a high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico "E. Fermi."
