David Buxton

David Buxton has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David began their career as a Pre-University Employee at IBM UK in 1988. David then worked as a Software Engineer at Logica UK from 1992 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Simoco Europe Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer. From 1998 to 2006, they worked at TTPCom as a Senior Software Engineer. David then transitioned to Motorola, where they held the position of Principal Software Engineer from 1998 to 2008. In 2008, they co-founded Octymo and served as the Chief Software Architect until 2009. David then moved on to Cognovo, where they held the position of Principal Software Architect from 2009 to 2012. Currently, they work at u-blox as the Principal Software Architect, a position they have held since 2012.

David Buxton attended William Hulme's Grammar School from 1981 to 1988. David then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microelectronic Computer Systems at The University of Manchester from 1989 to 1992.
