George Huang

Director Of Retirement Benefits (finance Department) at U-Haul

George Huang has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. George started their career at Walgreens as an Assistant Manager in 2003 and later became an Executive Assistant Manager in 2004. In 2005, they joined Chase as a Licensed Personal Banker and subsequently became a Licensed Business Banker in 2009. In 2010, they transitioned to U-Haul International, Inc and served as a Financial Analyst before being promoted to Program Manager/Financial Analyst in 2011. In this role, they were responsible for creating and managing U-Haul Investors Club®, a successful investment platform. George also played a key role in reducing borrowing interest rates and lowering financing expenses. In 2018, George became the Manager of Retirement Benefits & U-Haul Investors Club® and eventually took on the position of Director of Retirement Benefits in the finance department. Throughout their tenure at U-Haul, they engaged in audits for various entities and prepared IRS forms, while also collaborating with attorneys to ensure compliance with the SEC. George also implemented fraud protection protocols.

George Huang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Accounting from the University of California, Riverside, from 1998 to 2002. George then completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, from 2007 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained a certification in CFA Level I from the CFA Institute in 2017.
