Kate Neeper has a diverse work experience in various strategic and analytical roles. Kate started their career in 2006 as a House Mentor at GW Housing Programs. In 2008, they became a Presidential Management Fellow at the Broadcasting Board of Governors, where they later served as a Program and Policy Analyst and then as a Program Analyst until 2018. In 2018, Kate joined the United States Agency for Global Media as a Strategic Program Analyst, and they later became the Deputy Director of Strategy in the Office of Policy and Research from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategy and Performance Assessment.
Kate Neeper completed their education in a chronological order. Kate began their academic journey at the University of Southern California, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Spanish from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they enrolled at The George Washington University from 2006 to 2008, and obtained a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs.

The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) encompasses all U.S. civilian international broadcasting, including the Voice of America (VOA), Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB)—Radio and TV Martí, Radio Free Asia (RFA), the Middle East Broadcasting Networks (MBN)—Radio Sawa and Alhurra Television, and the Open Technology Fund (OTF). USAGM broadcasters distribute programming in 63 languages to an estimated weekly audience of 410 million people via radio, TV, the internet and other new media. USAGM works to serve as an example of a free and professional press, reaching a worldwide audience with news, information, and relevant discussions.
