Kevin Melton

Kevin Melton is an experienced professional in international development and stabilization policy, currently serving as the Team Lead for the Strategy, Innovation, and Partnerships Division at USAID since February 2022. Previously, Melton held several roles within USAID, including Senior Civil-Military Transition Assistance Specialist and Senior Assistance Advisor, where responsibilities included coordinating civil-military procedures and advising on stabilization policies. Additional experience includes positions at Creative Learning, the Institute for State Effectiveness, and AECOM International Development, focusing on resilience, conflict mitigation, and international development analysis. Melton has a Master's degree in International Affairs from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from James Madison University.
