Chase Houser

Chase Houser is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, having been competitively selected for an Air Force-sponsored PhD quota. Chase has served as an officer in the United States Air Force since May 2014, with a notable promotion to 1st Lieutenant in May 2016. As the Chief of the Department of the Air Force Professional Financial Management Course, Chase oversees graduate-level education for senior military and civilian personnel. Previous roles include Senior Cost Analyst at Air Force Space Command, where responsibilities involved financial analysis for high-profile projects, and as a Financial Analyst, focusing on Earned Value and Cost Analysis for satellite programs. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Cost Analysis, complementing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the United States Air Force Academy.
