Daniel Bakke

Daniel Bakke serves as the Senior Vice President of Economic Sanctions Advisory at U.S. Bank since July 2014, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with sanctions regulations. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at BMO Financial Group, including Vice President and Team Lead for High Risk & OFAC Unit, as well as at RBS as a Sanctions and Filtering Supervisor and Senior Sanctions Analyst. Earlier experience includes a project management role at Secondary Marketing Resources and compliance consulting at Wells Fargo, where responsibilities spanned multiple roles in sanctions and compliance from 1999 to 2008. Daniel holds an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
