Frederick Lubeley

Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis at U.S. Cellular

As vice president of strategy and planning, Fred is responsible for delivering critical financial analysis and support to the entire organization, helping to ensure that U.S. Cellular provides a great customer experience. He leads teams that manage budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, analysis of key investment decisions, roaming operations, and advanced analytical services.

Fred joined Telephone and Data Systems (U.S. Cellular's parent company) in 1997 as an internal audit supervisor, and since 2001 he has held a variety of positions at U.S. Cellular, including roles in operations and finance. He most recently served as director of business strategy, where he was responsible for evaluating new business opportunities and investments.

A certified public accountant and certified internal auditor, Fred earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He lives in Algonquin, Ill., with his wife and two children.
