Kirby McCord

Kirby McCord is a Senior Manager of Infrastructure Architecture at U.S. Cellular, with a focus on digital transformation, enterprise cloud strategy, and information architecture, particularly in big data and data analytics. With a career beginning in 1998, Kirby has held various roles including Lead Infrastructure Architect, where efforts included modernizing data architecture during business and operational support system migration, and Database Architect, focusing on transactional and warehousing solutions. Additionally, Kirby contributed significantly to the Independent Oracle Users Group by chairing the COLLABORATE conference and managing conference tracks. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Computational Engineering and Physics, respectively.
