Lynda Laughlin

Lynda Laughlin is a Senior Advisor and Chief of the Industry and Occupation Statistics Branch at the U.S. Census Bureau, responsible for managing the collection and dissemination of industry and occupation data, including oversight of notable surveys like the Decennial Census and the American Community Survey. In a prior role as a Demographer in the Fertility and Family Statistics Branch, Lynda focused on family demographics. Additionally, Lynda served as a Research Scholar at Temple University/Child Care Bureau from September 2005 to May 2007. Lynda earned a PhD in Sociology from Temple University in 2006, following a B.A. in Sociology from Coe College in 1999.
