Michael Molnar

Michael Molnar serves as the Chief of Cyber Security Operations Center for the U.S. Coast Guard, leading over 90 operators, analysts, and support staff since June 2012. Previously, Michael held roles such as Chief of Law Enforcement, where responsibilities included overseeing security for 14 military units and managing significant security improvement projects. With extensive experience in law enforcement and security operations, Michael has also worked as a Command Senior Chief, Division Chief, and Team Chief, focusing on training, incident management, and firearms instruction. Additionally, Michael has been involved with the U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association since 2013 and volunteered with the Southport Volunteer Fire Department from 1994 to 2021. Educational credentials include degrees in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security from Excelsior College and various Incident Command System certifications.
