Lead Electrical Engineer, Ship Design Team (cg-459), Icebreaker Programs at U.S. Coast Guard

Caroline Angelo has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Caroline is currently employed at the U.S. Coast Guard as the Lead Electrical Engineer for the Ship Design Team, specifically focusing on the Icebreaker Programs. Caroline began their career in 2003 as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Bombardier Transportation and later worked as an NSF REU Participant at the University of North Dakota in 2004. Caroline then joined RIVA Networks as an Electrical Engineer Intern and subsequently worked at USPTO as a Patent Examiner. In 2006, they started working at Computer Sciences Corporation as an Electrical Engineer. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Gibbs & Cox, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer, providing support to the US Coast Guard Ship Design Team and the Royal Canadian Navy's Arctic Offshore Patrol Ship project.

Caroline Angelo obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University during the period of 2001-2005. Caroline then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University from 2007-2012.
