Colin MacInnes

Colin MacInnes has extensive work experience in the U.S. Coast Guard. Their most recent role is the Marketing Director, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant Operations Officer at the US Coast Guard Recruiting Command from July 2016 to April 2021. Colin also served as the Head of Personnel Support Branch at the USCG Academy from August 2011 to July 2016. Additionally, Colin has experience as an Operations Officer on the CGC DILIGENCE from July 2009 to July 2011, a Professional Maritime Studies Instructor at the USCG Academy from August 2005 to June 2009, and as an Executive Officer on the USCGC GALVESTON ISLAND from May 2003 to July 2005. Colin started their career as a Student Engineer in June 2001 and held the position until April 2003.

Colin MacInnes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the US Coast Guard Academy from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies at the U.S. Naval War College.
