Nicholas Bernice

Reserve Command Master Chief at U.S. Coast Guard

Nicholas Bernice has extensive experience in both military and educational leadership. Since June 1995, Nicholas has served in the U.S. Coast Guard, currently holding the position of Reserve Command Master Chief and previously working as the Reserve Force Management Coordinator for Boatswain's Mate at Coast Guard Headquarters. In the education sector, Nicholas has acted as the Education Director for Operation Allies Welcome at JBMDL and served as Superintendent of Schools for Ringwood Public Schools until July 2024. Additionally, an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University from September 2018 to August 2022, Nicholas has instructed within the School of Education. Presently, as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Sky Training, LLC, Nicholas specializes in various pilot training courses. Academically, Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in General Science from Fordham University, an EdD in Administration and Supervision from St. John's University, an MA in Reading Education from Saint Peter's University, and an MS in Educational/Instructional Technology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
