Seth Parker

Seth Parker is a seasoned leader in the U.S. Coast Guard with extensive experience in operational command and crisis management. Currently serving as Captain of the Port and Commander of Sector Lake Michigan since July 2020, Seth previously held the role of Deputy Commander at U.S. Africa Command from July 2018 to June 2020. During a long tenure at the U.S. Coast Guard from September 1999 to June 2018, Seth held multiple key positions, including Chief of the Incident Management Division at Sector New York and Senior Search & Rescue Controller at Sector San Juan. Seth possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Appalachian State University and an Associate of Science degree from Sandhills Community College.
