Shelly Wyman, PE, is a Physical Research Scientist at the U.S. Coast Guard since July 2020, conducting research and development in support of Coast Guard missions. Previously, Wyman served as a Lecturer in both the Department of Engineering and the Office of Civil Engineering, teaching a range of engineering courses and advising Senior Capstone projects. Wyman also has experience as a Property Manager and Homemaker, managing townhouse rentals from January 2014 to August 2016. Additionally, Wyman held roles within the U.S. Coast Guard from 2006 to 2011, focusing on program management and incident management. Wyman earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy.
