Chas Lin

Chas Lin is an IT Program Manager currently employed at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission since October 2023. Prior to this role, Chas served as Division Manager for Economic and Statistics Applications at the US Department of Labor from August 2022 to November 2023. Chas has significant experience at the Federal Aviation Administration, where responsibilities included Senior Information Technology Program Manager and Supervisory IT Program Manager from September 2014 to August 2022. Additional experience includes supervisory and engineering positions at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency and Naval Air Systems Command, where involvement spanned various Navy developmental programs. Earlier experience includes a Computer Engineering Internship at MDL Information Systems GmbH. Chas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
