Valerine Valdez

Valerine Valdez has extensive experience in information technology and cybersecurity, having held multiple leadership positions since 2002. Currently serving as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (InfoSec) with U.S. Customs and Border Protection since March 2020, Valerine specializes in information system security management. Prior roles include Information Technology Security positions with the United States Marine Corps, and various compliance and quality assurance roles at Sentar Inc. and CGI. In addition to practical experience, Valerine is pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity Policy and Management, as well as Information Technology Project Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, expected to complete in 2024.
