Sandra Benson has a solid background in market access and regulatory affairs. Sandra started their career in 1997 as an International Sales Coordinator at Cole-Parmer, where they worked until 2000. From 2001 to 2002, they interned at the U.S. International Trade Commission and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, gaining experience in international trade analysis and economic impact assessments. In 2002, they joined International Trade Services Corporation as a Manager, focusing on trade information and research. Here, they provided analysis and policy support for clients in various regions. In 2007, Sandra became Manager of Market Access and Regulatory Affairs at the U.S. Dairy Export Council. Over the years, they progressed to become the Director and eventually the Vice President of the same department. In these roles, they managed projects, developed publications, facilitated information sharing, and represented dairy exporters' trade policy interests to government agencies. Sandra's work experience demonstrates their expertise in international trade, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
Sandra Benson obtained their MA degree in International Trade and Investment Policy from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned their BA degree in International Studies and Spanish from Miami University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their degrees, Sandra obtained a Customs Broker License from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in March 2009.
