Charles Sangbong

Charles Sangbong, MBA, CISA, has extensive experience in IT auditing and information security consulting, currently serving as the Lead IT Auditor and Information Security Consultant at USDA since February 2010. In this role, Charles has been involved in various audit projects, including General Computer Control and Business Process compliance for the agency’s Integrated Acquisition System and SmartPay2 systems. Previous positions include Senior IT Auditor and Information Assurance Consultant at the U.S. Department of Justice, and Senior IT Auditor at Raffa, PC, where leadership was demonstrated through managing IT audit teams. Charles has also held roles at KPMG as a Senior Associate in IT advisory services and as a Compliance Auditor at Northrop Grumman Corporation, specializing in internal controls and information systems audits. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a BS in Accounting from Northeastern University.
