Matthew Dori

Matthew Dori currently serves as the Director of Security at Virginia Spaceport Authority, having taken on the role in February 2023 after acting in the same capacity previously. From January 2014 to June 2023, Matthew worked with the Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority, progressing from Special Projects Engineer to Senior Security Engineer and eventually to Deputy Director of Security. Early experience includes roles as a Physicist for Spaceport Support Services, where engineering support was provided, and as a Patent Examiner at USPTO, focusing on technology related to power conservation and management. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a Computer Consultant, Physics Tutor, and interned at NASA. Educationally, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Salisbury University and a certification in SCIF Door Installation from Lockmasters Security Institute.
