Chris Laughton

USDA National Advisory Board On Beginning Farmers And Ranchers at U.S. Department of Agriculture

Chris Laughton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in agricultural program management and knowledge exchange. Currently serving as the FarmStart Program Manager at FarmStart, LLP since January 2021, Chris has over a decade of experience as the Director of Knowledge Exchange at Farm Credit East, ACA, starting in May 2011. In addition, Chris contributes as a Farmer to Farmer Volunteer Advisor for USAID since August 2010, focusing on training and technology transfer in developing countries. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Science from Cornell University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Master of Science in Applied and Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut.
