Deputy Chief Data Officer at U.S. Department of Agriculture

Fredy Diaz currently serves as the Deputy Chief Data Officer at USDA, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Diaz was the Analytics Director at USPS OIG from September 2017 to December 2022, where responsibilities included reporting to the Chief Data Officer and overseeing audits and investigations to enhance USPS efficiency. From July 2013 to September 2017, Diaz worked at the U.S. Department of Labor as a Property Manager, earning the 2017 Willard Wirtz Legacy Award for exemplary public service. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Acquisition Logistics Analyst at National Technologies Associates, Inc. and as a Supply Chain Manager in the United States Marine Corps, where Diaz received multiple commendations for logistics support in various military operations. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Government Analytics from The Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from the University of Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Park University, along with a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University.
