Rebecca Nemec Boehm, PhD, is a Senior Economist in Agriculture Policy at the USDA since February 2022. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as a Senior Economist for the Food and Environment program at the Union of Concerned Scientists from December 2018 to February 2022. A University Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Connecticut from January 2017 to December 2018, Rebecca also held various academic roles at Tufts University, including Course Developer and Manager, Teaching Assistant, and Research Intern within the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy between 2010 and 2016. Educational credentials include a PhD and MSc in Agriculture Food and Environment from Tufts University, along with a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University.
