Simarpal Singh is a Data Scientist Intern at AgTechLogic since June 2024, focusing on generating AI models and creating data labeling processes. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Research Fellow at USDA since August 2022, Simarpal has engineered computer vision models using TensorFlow.js and Roboflow to analyze drone imagery for crop differentiation. As the Founder and President of the AI Student Collective since June 2023, Simarpal leads initiatives to enhance tech literacy through workshops and events. Simarpal also holds the positions of Vice President of External Affairs and Director of Alumni Relations in the Student Alumni Association since March 2022, promoting organizational engagement and alumni mentorship. Additionally, Simarpal is the Vice President of Philanthropy for Sigma Phi Epsilon, focusing on community engagement. Simarpal is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science at the University of California, Riverside, expected to graduate in June 2025.
