Frederick Carlson

Frederick Carlson has extensive work experience in information technology and security. Frederick started their career as a Communications Company Commander in the 1st Signal Brigade, where they supervised a large workforce and was responsible for voice and data communications. Frederick then served as a Data Network Manager at the United States Military Academy at West Point, managing a large data network and supervising a team of employees. Frederick later worked as a Project Manager for NATO, overseeing multiple communications projects in Afghanistan. Carlson also worked for the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army, where they served as a Network Engineer and later as the Joint Network Operations and Security Director in Afghanistan. After their military service, Carlson held various positions in the private sector and academia, including roles as a Director in the G3 Plans and Engineering division of the 7th Signal Command, Director of Live Experimentation at the U.S. Army Signal School, and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at St. Petersburg College. Most recently, they served as the Chief Information Systems Security Officer at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Department of Commerce.

Frederick Carlson's education history includes a variety of academic achievements and certifications. Frederick obtained a Bachelor's degree in History/Computer-Info System from the University of South Florida in 1982 to 1989.
