Yasmin Yacoby

Yasmin Yacoby currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Energy Justice and Equity at the U.S. Department of Energy, where previous roles included Policy Analyst and Energy Justice and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Consultant. Additional leadership responsibilities include being a Board Member of the Global Shapers Community and a Shaper, contributing to initiatives aimed at community enhancement. Prior experience encompasses serving as the Energy Justice Program Manager for the State of Rhode Island and as a Fellow with Govern for America. Yasmin's earlier roles include a Technician and Work Study Student in the Harvard Theatre, Dance, and Media Department, a Research Assistant in the Harvard Department of Environmental Studies with published contributions, and a Summer Intern at Environment America. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Public Policy and Theatre, Dance, and Media from Harvard University, along with studies at the School for International Training and Yale University Summer Session.
