Ritwik Gupta

Ritwik Gupta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning across various sectors. Currently serving as Deputy Technical Director and Principal AI Scientist at the Defense Innovation Unit and as an Advisor for AI and AI Policy for the U.S. Department of Justice, Ritwik provides expertise in AI application, governance, and policy. As the Founder and President of Neural Tangent, Ritwik develops machine learning technologies for humanitarian efforts. Previous roles include a Research Fellow at the Allen Institute for AI, Engineering Program Manager at Apple, and Machine Learning Research Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University. Ritwik's educational background includes a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and an MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
