Danielle Christensen

Danielle Christensen currently serves as the Deputy Chief Program Officer at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focusing on oversight of State and Local Programs through the Office of Capital Access since February 2024. Previously, Danielle held the position of Director at the U.S. Department of the Treasury - Office of Financial Stability from October 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included directing accounting and program operations and managing cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. As Compliance Manager for the State Small Business Credit Initiative from May 2013 to August 2017, Danielle ensured compliance with program rules through various monitoring activities. Danielle's early career included roles as an Internal Control Specialist and Auditor in various organizations, including the Defense Logistics Agency and KPMG. Danielle earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University and also attended the University of the Virgin Islands.
