Julia Marra

Julia Marra currently serves as an East Asia Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since July 2019, following a role as an Economic Analyst in the China Strategic Focus Group at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command from July 2021 to July 2024. Prior experience includes an Analyst position at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from September 2014 to July 2019, and a Domestic Radicalization Research Internship at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism in late 2014. Julia also worked as a Government and Politics Research Assistant at the University of Maryland and held various roles in international education and sales, including an English Teaching Assistantship in the Basque Country and a town clerk assistant internship. Julia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland between 2011 and 2015.
