Matt Garber

Matt Garber currently serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Fiscal Operations and Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where responsibilities also include the roles of Chief Customer Officer for Fiscal Service and Senior Advisor for Fiscal Policy within Domestic Finance. Prior to this, Matt held various significant positions at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from November 2012 to March 2017, including Director of Consumer Education & Engagement and Director of Talent Acquisition. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Talent Acquisition at CustomInk and Director of Development with the Sinfonia Educational Foundation. Matt began a career in public relations at Longwood University after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree there from 1999 to 2004.
