Hanalei Harris

Hanalei Harris has extensive experience in various roles within the military and public safety sectors. Currently serving as an EMS at the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs since January 2018, Hanalei is also an 88M truck driver in the United States Army Reserve since November 2015. As a firefighter with the City of Memphis Fire Department since October 1995, Hanalei focuses on community protection and public safety. Previous military experience includes service in the United States Air Force as part of LRS Mobility Command and in the United States Marine Corps as a rifleman. Hanalei has also been a business owner, operating a barbershop and a cosmetology school, dedicated to mentoring young entrepreneurs. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Management & Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from LeMoyne-Owen College.
