Kavon Javaherian

Kavon Javaherian, MD, MBA, currently serves as a UCSF Assistant Clinical Professor at the San Francisco VA Hospitalist Section within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since July 2022. In addition, Kavon has held various leadership roles at Sling Health since 2014, including President, Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer, contributing significantly to clinical outreach, fundraising, and project development. Previously, Kavon completed a residency at UCSF Medical Center from May 2019 to June 2022 and worked as an Intervention Designer and Clinical Researcher at Epharmix from 2015 to 2019. Kavon's academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
