Lloyd Thrower

Lloyd Thrower has a solid background in Information Technology, with significant experience in leadership roles. Lloyd began their career in 1996 as the Director of IT Strategy at Nortel Networks, where they contributed to the company's IT strategy. In 2001, they joined JDS Uniphase as the Director of Front Office Applications, overseeing key applications. In 2005, Lloyd started working for the United States Department of Defense as the Director of Strategic Planning & Investment Management, where they played a crucial role in planning and managing investments. In 2011, they transitioned to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, taking on various roles such as Deputy CIO, IT Account Manager for Infrastructure and Networks, Deputy CIO, Account Manager for Benefits, and ADCIO, VA Chief Architect. Throughout their career, Lloyd has showcased their skills in IT management and strategic planning.

Lloyd Thrower earned a Bachelor's degree in American History from Harvard University in the years 1976 to 1980. Lloyd subsequently pursued an MBA from Harvard Business School between 1987 and 1989. Later, they completed a Masters degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University from 1995 to 1997.
