Nick Rutledge is a seasoned social work professional with extensive experience in trauma-informed care and behavioral health services. Currently serving as a Supervisory Social Worker in the Emergency Department at the Biloxi VA Medical Center since March 2023, Nick also contributes as a Legislative Liaison for the Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy & Practice, focusing on integrating trauma-informed policies addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences. Previously, Nick held the role of Director of Integrated Behavioral Health Services at Coastal Family Health Center, overseeing a multidisciplinary team delivering behavioral health services across multiple counties. Additional experience includes roles in medical social work and as a trauma specialist, providing consulting and training aimed at fostering positive developmental outcomes. Nick holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi.
