Courtney Sourmehi

Courtney Sourmehi is an experienced industry economist currently working at the U.S. Energy Information Administration since May 2018, responsible for implementing data management practices, automating data sourcing, and collaborating with external partners to enhance analytical products. Prior to this role, Courtney operated as a database and analytics consultant at Sourmehi Consulting, LLC, where expertise in technology implementation and data solutions was demonstrated. Previous positions include managing technology and databases at The Women's Center and supporting academic research at The University of Iowa. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies and Political Science from the University of Iowa, complemented by education at SOAS University of London and ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.
