Fadi Shadid

Fadi Shadid is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in energy data analytics and economic research. Currently serving as a Senior Economist at the U.S. Energy Information Administration since January 2016, Fadi designs and implements projects to enhance energy commodity data collections and modeling. Prior to this role, Fadi worked as an Independent Consultant from May 2011 to December 2015, focusing on data analysis and business intelligence for energy policy and economic forecasting. Additionally, a tenure as a Visiting Research Fellow at KAPSARC involved contributions to research on global energy fundamentals. Fadi's previous experience includes roles as a Product Manager at SNL Financial and Senior Equity Analyst at FBR Capital Markets, where extensive research and financial metrics analysis were conducted. Fadi began professional career as an IT Project Manager at EDS Group after earning an MS in Operations Research and a Bachelor's in Finance from the University of Maryland.
