Michelle Bowman

Michelle Bowman has over a decade of experience in energy analysis and operations research. Currently serving as the International Energy Outlook Product Manager and Lead Operations Research Analyst at the U.S. Energy Information Administration since July 2012, Michelle specializes in hydropower analysis and leads the development of an international electricity market model. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as an Operations Research Analyst at OPNAV N14, focusing on modeling for Navy personnel and training. Additional experience includes positions as a Computer Scientist at both the Naval Surface Warfare Center and the Missile Defense Agency. Michelle holds a Master's of Science in Computer Science/Operations Research and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from William & Mary, along with completion of the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University.
