Kate Lenane serves as the Managing Director of the Office of Opportunity and Inclusiveness at the US Government Accountability Office since August 2003. In this role, Kate developed and implemented GAO's first comprehensive Anti-Harassment Policy investigative process and conducts sensitive investigations related to sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination. Previously, Kate held the position of Assistant General Counsel at the same office and worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office from September 2004 to August 2005. Kate earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Boston University.
